Judge Rinder is a popular daytime courtroom procedural. It is known for having some silly cases and for Judge Rinder’s sass. It was not a program that ITV were actively pushing to, however everyday our Twitter mentions would light up with people talking about the show. During this particularly bizarre case, Judge Rinder was judging a grievance over money lost over a pie-eating competition. He insisted that the contest be re-created in his courtroom. I was watching live along with the rest of Twitter, and managed to screen cap this reaction as it happened. It was a perfect accompaniment to his previous statement from a few moments before about how he practiced international law. It resonated well with our audience and Judge Rinder fans alike. This is my personal favourite tweet of all the ones I’ve ever crafted.

The Hobbit: the journey

The context for this is that the TX was almost three hours long, and throughout Twitter users mentioned how long the broadcast was. I wanted to make a light hearted joke at the end to thank viewers for staying with us.
